I had a dozen people send those videos to me. It seems the people that don't know about it, simply have no reason to visit that home page.

Yes! These ads seem to be directed squarely at FileMaker developers. They seem like an inside joke that the public would never get.

Huh? I don't know, I've sat in a lot of meetings before I was a FileMaker developer where someone was proposing the most absurd, and useless ideas. Business analyst, upper management, in most businesses have likely encountered the hype-based solutions many times. It represents those times where the marketing videos for these companies is far and beyond what the product actually delivers in reality.

At least in the circles I have traveled over the past 25 years, this is very relevant.

Yeah, I get your point. I've heard some of that too in meetings. But what I think is missing in this whole ad campaign is any insight into what FileMaker is. The message from the ignored FileMaker lady gets steamrolled in every one I've watched. I''m just not a fan of the videos.

Outside of an email that I get from FileMaker Inc, pointing me to the latest video, who sees these? Are they pushing them out to Social Media? TV? Streaming services?

Based on what I've seen, I am also hoping that the tide begins to turn. We have already seen the absurd results of man-bun guy's suggestions. A final video showing what FileMaker actually did for them, and maybe even a couple scenes of someone actually working to make a change in FileMaker would be awesome. We shall see!!

It is my understanding that the videos are being pushed out to many places. Most of those places are outside of the circles we likely travel in. They have a very professional, and thorough marketing campaign running for these videos. And based on the professional quality of the videos, they are also using a marketing firm to assist with the campaign and make sure it hits the target audience. I thought Julie or Anne mentioned it somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it now.
