    Description

    Provides a single field that can be used to concisely show the current record number, found count, record total and sort status. Best used as merge formatted field.

    RecordNumTotal = Get ( TotalRecordCount ) ;

    RecordSortStatus = Get ( SortState )

    ] ;

    "Record#: " & RecordNum & " " &

    "Found Records: " & RecordFndCt & " " &

    //cfRecordsStatus by George Perry, Informing Designs

    Sample Input

    Sample Output
    RecordNum ; RecordFndCt ; RecordNumTotal ; RecordSortStatus

    Record: 25 Found Records: 12 Total Records: 2500 Sort Status: Unsorted

    Developer's Notes

    I create a calculation field called zRecordsStatus and simply enter this custom function as its only parameter and set Show Results as Text. Sample file also provides a linear formatting of the field.
