James Medema (Surefoot Database Consulting)

Session Code: BUS004

After nearly 20 years as a developer and consultant James started his own consulting company in 2009. His discovery process included a lot of research. Many sleepless nights and long hours of research resulted in some incredible successes as well as a few painful (and costly) lessons. In this nuts-and-bolts session, James will share the best of what he’s seen, read, and learned from his own experiences and from other colleagues. By sharing his journey, Jim hopes to provide attendees the information to make the leap to become an independent consultant.
