Session Code: WEB002

FileMaker WebDirect extends FileMaker to the browser but it’s important to understand what “FileMaker in a Browser” really means. This session will bring real world case studies together from across the FileMaker community and present lessons learned, best practices, and comparisons to how traditional FileMaker Pro solutions differ somewhat in their design and general use. These examples will serve to inspire and demonstrate where databases make best use of FileMaker WebDirect technology. Without being deeply technical, this session will end by distilling some good development approaches with a particular focus on performance for systems meant for FileMaker WebDirect audiences.
