Matthew O’Dell  (FileMaker, Inc.)

Session Code: DES002

FileMaker gives us many tools to build solutions quickly and easily, but how do we know we’re building the right solution? The ability to answer this question is one of the main differences between a developer and a designer. This session will cover topics that Matthew has learned over the past ten years on how to think like a designer rather than just a developer. Key topics covered include how to create visually appealing solutions for the non-visual designer, how to ensure the right problems are being solved, and how to build easily understood solutions.
