Now that the tabs are in place, let’s set them up!

Start with the “Work Overview” tab to display a field that summarizes the work being performed for each customer.




Set up the “Work Overview” tab to display the “Work Overview” field.




  1. Choose the View menu > Layout Mode  ⌘L or Ctrl-L

  2. Select the “Work Overview” tab.

  3. Select the “Work Overview” field in the Field Picker dialog box.

  4. Drag the field onto the tab area in the layout.

  5. Reposition/resize the field and its label to match the image below.

  6. Choose the View menu > Browse Mode  ⌘B or Ctrl-B



The “Work Overview” information appears on the “Work Overview” tab. Pretty nifty! 

We’ll set up the remaining two tabs later.
