Dear APAC FileMaker Developers,
We trust that you saw the launch of the new FileMaker 15 Platform last week. There has been some tremendous exposure in the press and we are very excited about the upgrade.
FileMaker is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an exciting FileMaker 15 launch event on Wednesday, 1 June – FileMaker Developer Day. This Developer Day will be focused on a deeper technical presentation of FileMaker 15 Platform features, how they extend features from the last few FileMaker versions, and how you can use them to your advantage in custom app development.
About FileMaker Developer Day
FileMaker Developer Day will be focused on taking your FileMaker 15 developer skill-set to the next level. We’ll be running several interactive sessions hosted by a diverse mix of presenters including a special guest from FileMaker HQ in California and a panel discussion of Platinum FileMaker Business Alliance members.
Who is FileMaker Developer Day for?
The FileMaker Developer Day sessions have been designed to be of most value to the experienced FileMaker Developer. We would expect that you have built one or many FileMaker apps, either for yourself, for your team or for your customers. You are probably an active member and follower of the FileMaker Community. You may be a FileMaker Certified Developer or just a FileMaker enthusiast. If that sounds like you, then you will benefit from the range of new FileMaker information we have to offer.
The sessions will cover such topics as:
• What’s new in the new FileMaker 15 Platform – how it works and why it is important
• Under the Hood with the FileMaker engine, Draco
• FileMaker apps getting out and about with iBeacons, GPS and barcodes
• Platinum FBA Discussion Panel - app development, developers and design
What if I am not a FileMaker developer?
This event is probably not going to be of value to you. You may have just downloaded a trial and you’re trying to get your head around the basics. We’d love to have you but we’d hate for you to be frustrated by the level of the sessions. If you’re just getting started we always recommend joining the FileMaker Community to get moving on the basics. We have heaps of resources to get you started, and if you have questions you can always give us a call directly.
How to Register
This event will be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour, Sydney.
