Code 128 Bar Code without fonts or plugins.
No plugin needed! This has made life a lot easier.
Thanks a lot RonSmithMD
Is it Possible to make the QR Code version like this?
Using a micro-service and a few lines of code, you can create QR Codes in FMP:
Totally free. Code samples online.
Check out my two micro-service tutorials in the App Innovations Area:
Create Micro-Services Using Java and the Spark Java Framework
The Simplest Micro-Service! (Python and Flask)
Possibly. But the two dimensional nature of QR Codes would make it more difficult. I wrote this based on the idea that barcodes are one dimmensional and can be created from fixed width black lines. I use it still to easily record when control substance prescriptions are being signed for.
There are a number of plugins that do all kinds of codes like these. My best recommendation is xmChart by X2Max.com which focuses on chart graphics as well as all kinds of visual image codes.
Monkey Bread Software can do this too, but it is so expensive and the kitchen sink approach and non-standard single line call to all the plugins functions require the manual always to be close at hand. It is worse than frustrating for me to use it, so I'm phasing it out of all my solutions.

I can try my logic with an example you send me to see if it matches.
Also, the micro-service logic is code you control and is totally free not that free is always a requirement.
this also works great
Yeah I’ve used this one for some time. Works well.
The Micro-Services Solution is Brilliant, but it's too complicated if I have to install Java etc to the clients (if i didn't read it wrong).
It'll be great if not use any plugin as you've made,
I have used Barcode Creator Version 1.3.0 By Jeremy Bante Copyright 2014-2016 Fugue <fuguesense.com>
It's just using script without plugin or any installation but took long time to generate the QR Code (about 20 sec).
hopefully can be as fast as yours.
It's Requires FileMaker Pro Advanced for the Custom Function, And can't Generate QR Code
It only requires FileMaker Pro Advanced to install the custom function in the solution. Any FileMaker can generate bar codes from it once that is installed.
Why would the FMPro Advanced be an issue for developers in any case?
FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Pro Advanced Priced almost double the Price, in some small office can't afford it or maybe they didn't want to. It's regarding to http://www.modularfilemaker.org/module/easybarcode/ the one I Mentioned it.
Therefore we're really appreciate the one you've created.
But you only need ONE copy of FileMaker Pro Advanced to install it in the solution? I have about 15 FileMaker Pro client copies that use the Code128 in that solution. You have to have one copy of FileMaker Pro Advanced to do development?
