Next to "Perform script" step, it would be nice to be able to open the selected script in a new tab. This would save a lot of time instead of having to retrieve the script from the full list
This feature could be accessible from the options popup.
I LIKE IT! sort letting us follow a go to...
Hi Beverly, you like it but forgot to give your vote on ?
I had to read this twice to get the idea, but I get it now. Good one!
I was about to post it, but I wanted to implement it as a contextual menu.
I think we should have contextual menu to manipulate script steps.
We could have more function, like run this script in debug mode (in the case of the perform script step), a promo would allow us to put an eventual parameter
You can do this soon with next MBS Plugin version for Mac.
See blog post here: Open script by contextual menu
Just a nice idea someone told me at FileMaker Conference here in Salzburg, so I implemented it this afternoon.
Amazing! This is going to change my life. Danke schoen!
The 6.5pr3 plugin is now available with a lot of new features to try:
MBS FileMaker Plugin, version 6.5pr3
Please try the new context menu commands.

TSGal or tsplatypus Could one of you get the status of this Idea changed to "Delivered"
After many years of wondering why I couldn't just double/right-click a [ Perform Script… ] step, I like what I see as a more-powerful choice, especially if the basic feature request does not mature.
While I'm here, I'm going to read those product ideas about consolidating Perform Script/Perform Script on Server into one script step…
Perform Script: [ Where: From server/By client ; Specified: From list/By Name ; < > ; Parameter: < > ; Wait for completion: < On/Off > ]
Something new…every day. Thanks, Fabrice.
Thank you for bringing this back. Actually, things could even be better. I just posted another idea, feel free to vote for it
Open script in workspace from a layout button/Get rid of script simplified window
