At present, the Database Design Report (DDR) in FileMaker Pro Advanced (FMPA) provides numeric information on where an object is located on a layout. For the most part, this is X number of points across from the left margin and Y number of points down from the top margin. However, if an object is on a tab control, the measurement is relative to the upper-left corner of that panel, not of the layout as a whole. This makes it a bear to find what I'm looking for, since all the measurements in the Inspector are relative to the upper-left corner of the page, and I have to perform mental math (which I'm no longer very good at) to add what the DDR reports to what I'm able to guess about where the upper-left corner of the tab control is.
