As the title suggests, really, allow for scheduled scripts - at the least Filemaker Scripts in the first instance.
I know the product has only been released a couple of days, but this is a deal breaker for me...
also increase the 25 concurrent PSoS calls limitation.
Perhaps concurrent PSoS call limits could scale with the AWS instance size?
Yes, should be s parameter that can be set like "traditional" version.
As much as I want to, I cannot even consider Filemaker Cloud until scheduled scripts are allowed.
Mac89 I too needed scheduled scripts in my FMC solution and did not want to pay for a separate FMP license just to sit and run robo scripts on the client side. All users of my solution access it via WebDirect.
My solution around the problem was to write a simple windows shell script that logged into the solution via webdirect on an idle machine's web browser as a FileMaker user who's only permissions were to access a single layout that triggered the scripts I wanted scheduled and then logged out.
I then used Window's Task Scheduler to call my shell script to run on a regular schedule when I wanted the scripts to fire.
Let me know if you are interested in example windows shell code to implement this quick and dirty workaround.
