Auto Open a file is not working on FileMaker Cloud.
I know this is intended behaviour, but it's a really bad idea.
The native login dialog is e.g. not nice and don't give the users a good first impression. Furthermore, there is a button to change your login in the dialog, which will never work on a multi file solution.
So for so many reasons, we need to be able to let the users auto login with a low access privileges set, that only have very limited access.
From here, we do a re-login with the credentials, provided by the user and is able to give a nice login experience.
There are many other cases, where you need to enable auto login. Not all solutions contains sensitive business data. If we don't have a way to use this, you have just made life so much harder...
The same issue is present on FMS17, if you use the "so-called" secure host folder.
So, is there a way, even just a work-around, to allow files to use auto login on FileMaker Cloud ?
(The issue is present with both latest FMC 16 and FMC 17)
I'm posting here as a feature request to bring back functionality, that was removed, but shouldn't have been removed. IMO.
