NULL values returned via ODBC connection

We have a table that we are accessing via ODBC.  It has a primary key text field and all other fields in the table are calculations to various tables/fields within our solution.  Some are text and some are numeric.  This table was set up for the ODBC connection so we could name the fields the way we'd like and make it convenient for the vendor to 'reach in and get the data' they need for automatic feeds.  All is well except for 2 of the calculation fields - one is text (with leading and trailing commas) the other is a numeric id field.  Null values are being returned.  Any suggestions?

We are running v14 server and the latest v14 ODBC driver was downloaded.

The ODBC server is running Windows 2012. SQL Server is 2012.

Thx in advance for any pointers as to where to look, kathy
