When is FileMaker going to fix the “append to pdf” for iOS* function!
Desperately need this.
Or even the Cutting of image field between pages
The fact that append is not supported in GO is clearly documented in help:
•In FileMaker Go:•The following options are not supported: appending records to an existing PDF, and options in the Security tab and Initial View tab of the PDF Options dialog box.
•In FileMaker Go:

There are at least two product Ideas that ask for Append in iOS. Here's one of them:

well, beside asking FMI to fix/enhance the functions, you can use a plugin.
For example MBS FileMaker Plugin works on iOS with an iOS SDK made app and could use DynaPDF functions to merge PDFs.
This could also run on server, so it would work with FileMaker Go via Perform Script on Server.
And if the server, is a Mac, you may also be able to use PDFKit functions.
‘Append PDF in IOS’ is important to create better solutions for FileMaker Go users.. This feature will make it possible to create PDF reports from multiple tables on a local FileMaker Go solution.

Christian, are you saying that Appending PDF files will work on iOS if the solution was built in FMP and then converted to iOS with the FileMaker SDK for iOS?
I have a database that is supposed to run only on iPad devices and will not be connected to a server. The data resides only on the iPad and the iPad is where the PDF must be made. The script passes across a dozen layouts, making a PDF on each one and then it needs to gather them all together as one single multi-page PDF file. In FileMaker Pro, it works perfectly using the Save-as-PDF with the append feature. But if it can be done with MBS and DynaPDF, then I will need to integrate that right away.
Thanks for any help with this.
