Ive had this problem numerous times in the past..
It is usually down to one of the certificate files being corrupt
server.pem or root.pem
These files are in the filemaker folder.
Ill send you a PM with a link to download just these files, make a backup of the original files before replacing them

I was wondering if you think upgrading Filemaker would also take care of the problem if I decided to go that route. This is good to know. I'm the only user on my computer but can pass this on to someone who serves alot of people using Filemaker. Thanks again. Director
Ive had no connection problems myself with FM10 but couldnt say if it will solve the issue completely.
FM10 uses bonjour which seems to help solve a lot of previous issues, it also supports TCP/IP V6 protocols.
