Filemaker Linebreaks with XML and PHP

      Post

      Hello Everyone,

I'm using Filemaker Pro 10 on a Mac.

I'm trying to export a record as a kind of blog so the user of the FM database can write as they would in an email within a text field and then click a button that uploads the record as a php (or html) to their web site.

I've been using XML with an XSLT to successfully get the majority of the record made into a distinct php file, but I'm unable to figure out how to get the line breaks on the web page. I've tried using Substitute in a calculation to swap the line breaks with a <br />, but the < and > get converted to &lt; and &gt;. I tried saving the multi-line text field as it's own .txt file to be brought in with a php Include, but the php command ends up with the same problem.

      Anyone have any ideas?

      thanks,

      will
