What are the benefits/downsides of combining all tables into one file vs multiple files? My previous development experience (versions 2 through 7) have always consisted of multiple files, so I am comfortable with that. But I am interested in performance and management benefits, plus any other issues anyone has to submit that might be of interest.
I'm beginning development of a solution that will be used in a wide variety of multi-user environments of 5 to less than 100 users. Macs or PCs may be used.
