FileMaker Pro 10.0.3 Advanced and Snow Leopard

Post

I upgraded from 10.5.8 to 10.6 and 10.6.1. Both Filemaker Pro 10 and Office 2008 have problems with keyboard commands. In FileMaker nothing on the keyboard works, like moving between modes. Although I can do most things with the mouse, I cannot shut down; I have to Force Quit. Everything works fine if I run it in Rosetta, but then it is very very slow. I am seriously thinking of going back to OS 10.5. I have used Apples since the Apple II+ and have never encountered a system update that caused so many problems. Could it be some third party something that is causing this? I have deleted Filemaker with AppZapper, and reinstalled it, but nothing changes. I cannot find anyone else with the same problem? Any ideas?
