Before I open and examine the starter solution, have you modified the original starter solution design in any way?
haha nope. ;) please examine the starter solution
If your on your iPad when this happens then there's a problem. If you're on your desktop when you do it, the script doesnt take that into account. It first checks for iPad, then if it's not an iPad, defaults to iPhone.
edit: If your working with this on your desktop, you could flip the lines in the script, have it check for iPhone first, then it would default to iPad if you're not on your desktop.
Right now I'm using my desktop to edit the database, but you're basically saying that if I use an actual iPad w/Filemaker Go, then the script will work properly (without having to flip the lines in the script)?
It appears it will work fine (I don't have my iPad here to test it). But if you want to avoid this annoyance, you can either:
1. Duplicate the script(s), change them, and reference those scipts until your ready to deploy.
2. Change the original scripts--which I never do in case I make a mistake and/or can't remember how to get it back to its original form.
You can change the scripts and leave them that way. It will work fine.
You may also want to change in the scripts the Show/Hide Toolbars [Hide] to Show/Hide Toolbars [Show]. Just to make it easier on the desktop.
