Have you ever used FileMaker Pro on this machine before? If not, then try it on another machine. If it is a damaged disc, I would download another copy from our web site.
If this worked before, then let's assume FileMaker Pro became corrupt. Uninstall FileMaker Pro, restart your machine and reinstall FileMaker Pro. See if it now launches. If not, then you'll need to dig deeper in the OS to determine the problem.
