New FM user limited database experience, intermediate to advanced spreadsheet user.
I recently purchased Bento and very quickly discovered that it is too light and I needed more power. I have bought FileMaker Pro 10 and am very happy with it except I am unable to figure out how to sync address book and ical databases.
* I want to pick a user for relational database referencing from my address book in a form. I do not want to run a separate user database in FM
* I want to relate users with to-do's and appointments in iCal. I do not want to run a separate calendar database in FM
* I want to run a database in FM that keeps files and versions of files and them to users
* I want to run a database in FM that keeps group information of which users, appointments, to-do's and files are related.
Essentially, I want Bento's integration and FileMakers power. Can this be done?
