FileMaker Pro V5.0  and Windows XP Pro compatibility

      Post

I am getting an "unknown FileMaker error" when trying to print lables to a sato from an XP machine.  Wondering if it's an XP issue?  I just upgraded the workstation from Windows NT to XP Pro.  Windows 2000 is the highest compatiblity mode I see in V5.0.  Anybody seen this before?  Is there a way to make it work without having to upgrade FileMaker?

I run FMP ver 5.5 with no problems. Unsure about ver 5.0

Was the WinXPPro done over the NT or was the hard drive wiped and done from scratch.

If installed over the NT, programs and drivers may have to be uninstalled, reinstalled and updated.

sato is an unknown word for me, assuming it means printer, all other apps print correctly? Connected locally or networked?

Database run single user? Database on the computer having the problem or on a server?

Wikipedia has a page on Filemaker that lists all versions and compatiblity suggestions.
