FileMaker Pro won't open on Mac
My MacBook Pro crashed. I'm using a backup. Filemaker Pro 7 is installed on both. I just tried to open a document on the backup computer, and it displayed the message: "You can't open the application 'FileMaker Pro' because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." What the hey? It has never displayed that before. It was working fine recently on my computer before it crashed. Do I need to reinstall from the disk? Upgrade? What?
Mac OS 1..8.2, FMPro 7.0v3. It says it's an "Application (Power PC)" What's with that? I'm on a Mac.

It means that your backup mac has a newer version of the operating system and it is not compatible with older (powerPC) mac applications such as Filemaker 7.
