Title

Filemaker to MySQL connection problem via ODBC driver

Post

Hi,

I am using Filemaker Pro 11 advanced in my Mac Osx 10.7 Lion version. I have installed ODBC Manager and MySQL odbc driver in my Mac to access my MySQL database from my localhost. When i am adding the MySQL database in Filemaker via external datasources (ODBC) by specifying the correct DSN, i can able to see all those tables and views of my MySQL database (test_database), but when i am going to select those tables it is throwing me an error that

"ODBC Error: [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver][mysqld-5.1.44]You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''test_database' at line 1".

I have no idea why this error is coming. Can anyone tell why this error is coming.

Thanks in advance
