    Find where field 1 = field 2

      Find where field 1 = field 2

           I want to perform a find where field 1 = field 2. Both fields are text fields. Is there a way to do this?

               Define a 3rd field, a calculation field with this boolean expression:

               field 1 = field 2

               Select Number as the result type.

               Then perform a find for a 1 (True) in this third field.

               Option 2:

               Define a self join linking a new table occurrence of your table to the original like this:

               YourTable::Field 1 = YourTable 2::Field 2

               Perform a find on a layout based on YourTable specifying an * in YourTable 2::Field 2
