First time using filemaker mac! Help!

      Post

      Hi there,

      Got my firt mac today.

ive got filemaker installed and open, but when I open a remote file how do I open it as administrator?

or so it gives me the option to enter the full access admin password?

On Windows I would just hole down the shift key when opening the file I want to access.

      help!

You should see the same behavior on both platforms when it comes to Filemaker passwords.

For a full access password you would enter the account name and password (password is case sensitive) that has been given full access privileges.

If your file has been set to automatically enter a password in File options and you want to enter a different account name and password, hold down the options key instead of shift.
