Fixed set of buttons in list mode

      Post

I have a layout that is only viewable in list mode, and right now the buttons I have created for users stretch across the header.  However, for the sake of consistency and the growing abilities of the layout, I would like to be able to move these buttons to a sort of toolbar I used in my other full-page layouts.  Is there a way to "trick" FileMaker into letting me keep all my buttons visible on the side of the layout while enabling users to scroll through the list normally?  It would like something like this:

      Line 1            [Button 1] [Button 2]    / \

      Line 2            [Button 3] [Button 4]    |=|

      Line 3            [Button 5] [Button 6]    | |

      Line 4            [Button 7] [Button 8]    | |

      Line 5                                     \ /

and still look like this if a user scrolled down:

      Line 12           [Button 1] [Button 2]    / \

      Line 13           [Button 3] [Button 4]    | |

      Line 14           [Button 5] [Button 6]    | |

      Line 15           [Button 7] [Button 8]    |=|

      Line 16                                    \ /

Also, the button sizes are independent of the list row heights.  At the moment, most buttons are 30px square, and the rows are 16px tall.

      Thanks
