I have a portal with a button covering the entire portal row.  In order to create a double click to open a floating window to display the extra information within that row I've created a script within the button that on first click records the record ID to a global variable.  If another click is made on the same record the script compares the current global record ID with the current record and if it's the same it pops up a window.  This works well only if the user accidentally clicks several times you run the risk of having several windows open.  If there a way to check if the window is open already?

               Not IsEmpty ( FilterValues ( WindowNames ; "NameOfYourWindowHere" ) )

will be true if the window is already open.

Also, you might capture the current timestamp in a global variable when the button is clicked. If the current timestamp - the value in the global variable is 1 or less, the button was clicked twice rapidly.
