FM Go and FM Pro Or FM Server?

      Post

Just a quick question, do I need FM server to do import/export/sync or just FM Pro Advanced is enough? Thanks George

You can use FM to do import/export.  You will have to design your own sync or use a 3rd party sync, because it is not built in to any  versions of FM.  You can network FM up to 5 concurrent users,  more concurrent users will require FMS.

Thanks Chamblee for the quick and direct answer.

I supposed the TRIAL version doesn't allow to do import/export and syncing?  As I am still evaluating the FM and I created a button to do import/export but when I loaded it in the IPAD, the button doesn't do anything, but it's working in FM pro on my Windows desktop.

            Thanks

            George

Only FMP is a trial. FM GO is the full up, free iOS application. If it works on your windows desktop, the issue isn't that you are using the 30 day trial but that iOS systems don't work the same way as Windows systems and that means that you have to modify your approach sometimes in order to get things to work.
