Try to delete < com.filemaker.filemakerpro.plist> this file . its location is
USER- Preferences- You will fine the this file.
Move it to desktop, and try to open FMP again.
Thanks Lakshan. The file I found was a document called < FileMaker Pro 10.0 Prefs>. Dragging this to the desktop did allow Filemaker to open, from the application or an existing file. Thanks again.
Actually you can move it to trash as well.((if FMP working) Becouse FMP itself create the new preference for you. some times the mac os have problem with preferences file belong to applications. its not a big issue. just delete or move to another location. So next time if application is lounching that will create new preff. for you.
happy to hear good news form my 1 st support reply......
Be advised that this problem may recur frequently. This is a known bug with filemaker 10 and Mac OS 10.6.
