FMP & Acrobat Professional - Creating XML files

At the present time, I have a folder of PDF files and I'm calling an apple script from within FMP (v 10) to open those PDF files and export them to XML files. More particularly, I I use the following Acrobat menu items: Form, Export Data.

Is there a way to do this, using FMP code, and avoiding Apple Script? I'm trying to streamline my code and make it less dependent upon other programs.

      Thank you for the suggestions.

          Thank you for your post.

You can insert a PDF file into a Container field.  You can also display the PDF file in a Web viewer.  However, FileMaker Pro does not give you the ability to search in the PDF file or extract the data and export to XML.

Does anybody know of a plug-in that will do this?
