There is no change. Drop box is not a viable way to share a database system.
But both FileMaker 11, 12 and 13 can all host a database such that a limited number of users can access the database at the same time.
With FileMaker 11 or 12, you can open the file on the host computer with FileMaker Pro and use FileMaker Pro to access the hosted database. FileMaker Pro can host a database for up to 9 other users.
WIth FileMaker 13, this number drops to 4 other users as FileMaker changed its policies with this version.
With all of these versions, FileMaker Server can host the database to enable simultaneous access by much larger numbers of users.
