FMP database into standalone app ?  Questions for experienced users....

Post

Is this question obvious, ridiculous or impossible ?

I have invested a lot of time in designing and implementing a nice, functional FMP database I use in a small team at my company.

After talking to some colleagues I think this database may be of use to others in my field, outside my company.

So I am interested in developing an application based on the FMP database I have been using.

My questions are :

How can I make my FMP database into a standalone app that could be 'installed' on other computers that are not running FM ?

I am not a software developer (this is why I like using FMP to build my internal apps) - but will I have to learn how to be a software developer to accomplish this ?   :)

Does anyone on this forum do this regularly, and if so, how do you price such a thing to potential clients ?

 Thanks for your thoughts...
