Can you give an example of a menu command that you would trigger with a keyboard shortcut?
They work fine for me, in FileMaker whatever (since I've been able to do this up to 11), in OS ->10.6.2. I do however have to re-add them every time I get a new version, as it can tell the difference (and does not try not to, which would be nice; but FileMaker itself has a preference file for every version, which is of questionable worth).
Examples (for those who wonder why)
^A Security (used to be Accounts & Privileges, hence the A)
^V Value Lists
^C Custom Functions
^P Format Painter (using a lot in 11)
what im talking about is this....
using system preferences>language and text>text there are replacement text that is used by the os which means that when i am in any other program and i type "teh" the os knows to replace it with "the" this feature does not work in a field in fmp.
this is not really a keyboard shortcut like i said, but text replacement. sorry if i was not clear about that to begin with
