Formatting data from DB for letter

      Post

I again seek help with what will probably turn out to be a simple matter but as a Filemaker Newbie it is baffling me.

I have a database where one of the fields is completed with checkboxes so that multiple things can be chosen, however when I put this field into a report to be displayed it only displays the first item of those selected  :smileyindifferent:

Any clues on how to fix would be much appreciated

      Cheers

How do you want the items to look?  A CheckBox stores the checked items in a return-separated list, so if you have only displayed the field as a long, thin, single-line box it has only room to display the first item on the list.  If you make the field deeper you should see the other checked items listed.

If you want them as a vertical list that will solve the problem.

If you want them as a horizontal list you could use the Substitute function to replace the return characters with a comma and a space, for example.
