Have you tried Page Break AFTER every 1 occurrence?
Yes. Doesn't work either because the information that follows the sub-summary breaks onto the next page.
I realize now I wasn't clear. There's the leading grand summary, the sub-summary and then the body of records that feed into the sub-summary.
Here's a bit more information: The layout is a film's "continuity"
The leading grand summary shows a lot of information, the most important bit being the total running time.
The sub-summary shows the running length of each reel
And then the records in the body shows which scenes are in each reel (and how long each scene is)
Try using print after 1, but with a small sub summary part with the same break field (when sorted by), but with print below specified. This can be a blank layout part that is just one or two pixels tall.
It took me a second to decipher your post.
1) Leave original subsummary as is with nothing selected for page breaks.
2) Add second subsummary that follows the body with the page break set after every 1 occurrence.
Slicker than rick!
