If(Get(CurrentDate) ≤ CreationDate+60;"New Client")
This field needs to be unstore so it updates automatically.
Click Storage Options, then check Do not store calculation results - recalculate as needed.
Beautiful! Thank you for the help!! the formula worked perfect.
You might be interested to know that you can display "New Client" on a layout without defining a calculation field by using layout text with a conditional format.
Thanks Phil - I'll try that too.
That can be done if you use the Text tool while in layout mode to add
To your layout.
You can then select this text and specify a conditional format of:
Get(CurrentDate) > YourTable::CreationDate+60 // note that I have reversed the inequality here
And then specify a font size large enough that the text full disappears. a font size a bit more than 100 works unless you have an unusually large font size already specified for the text when it is visible. (You can just specify 500, the maximum, but I've had reports that this can greatly slow down layout updates when in browse mode in certain situations in fileMaker 12.)
