Create a value list with the Custom Values Y E and O. Then format that field (with the Inspector, if you have FM11) to be a CheckBox, using that value list.
You can then select more than one option. Although if Y means they get the magazine all the time, and O is for Odd, E for Even, why not just have two values, E and O, and check both when someone gets it every month?
I suppose you use script to filter it. Here is the way to select multiple values.
Show All Records
Ener Find Mode
Set Field[YourTable::YourFiled; "Y"]
Set Field[YourTable::YourFiled; "E"]
Enter Browse Mode
Now you have both Y and E on the layout. The key is "New Record".
If you are in layout Table view. You can do the same thing.
1. Click "Find"
2. Enter Y to your field.
3. Click "New Request" - you will have a new record.
4. Enter E to new record.
5. Click Perform Find.
The Layout table information was the simplest of all. I guess if I would have been familiar with the "New Request" in "Find" it would have been a no brainer.
I knew it had to be something simple. Thanks for the Help.
PS. I am using FM Pro 11.
I use this forum to learn a lots. I learned "New Request" from here also.
