Assuming you have a date field on the layout:
Enter Find Mode
Set Field (YourTable::Date_field); Value "<"& Get(CurrentDate)-5;
Cant edit on iPad....should be for value ">"& Get(CurrentDate)-6
You need to have a Field: CreationDate (or whatever name you want). Set it for the automatic option of Creation Date and no being able to modify. Then create a search script to find all records with date less than five days of CurrentDate.
Thanks Everyone for your quick response.
I will try it out and see how it works and let all know
Good day Script,
This script is not allowing to enter as was provided. It says the Value is a specified table that can't be found.
Please advise exactly how the script should be written with all the necessary operators.
Posting the exact script would help, but it sounds like you have a set field step incorrectly set up.
When Setting up Set Field, there are two Specify buttons that must be clicked. To get Set Field [Table::Field ; Expression], add set field to your script and click the first button (specify target field). Select Table::Field from the list of fields. Do not click the specify button next to the repetition box. Click OK to close this dialog box. Now click the lower specify button (calculated result) and create the expression to the right of the semicolon (;). Do not try to type in the semicolon.
I just want to say Thank You for the assistance.
