get tem of a particular checkbox set
In a script, I wish to determine which item of a particular checkbox set (which is tied to a value list) is currently selected - is there a way to do this? Much appreciated.
This one is "Deja Vu all over again" Just helped another person with the exact same question: Get the value of selected (clicked) checkbox
You can use the set variable to capture the value of the check box field.
Set variable; Name: $$ValueNameHere Value; Yourtable::YourField
You would have to give a little more information as to what you would like to do with it once your script captures the value.
No one value of a check box set is "currently" selected. The values either are selected or they are not. It IS possible, however, to determine the order in which they were clicked by the user and thus tell what value was most recently selected by the user.
So..PhilModJunk, please tell me how can I determine the order in which they were clicked by the user and thus tell what value was most recently selected by the user?
RightWords ( Tablnm::Fieldnm; 1) ???? Right - I think I got it
Nope, a check box value may have more than one word.
Mine are limited to one word - but thanks anyways
