Use a calculation such as:
Substitute ( List ( PortalTableOccurrence::EmailAddressField ) ; ¶ ; "; " )
I've used a semi-colon to separate addresses, your email program may require substituting the commas. The functions used in my example can be looked up in FIleMaker help if you need to learn more about them.
I'll work on that tonight and will let you know when I succeed.
your substitute calculation works perfect, PhilModJunk! I'm very grateful again ;)
Is it possible to combine 'save record as pdf and add this pdf as attachment' with this calculation?
At this moment I use 2 scripts, one for the pdf part and one for the email adresses part. But then I need to add the pdf manually to the e-mail. If there is only one email address the mail program understands the attachment part, but with multiple email addresses I don't know how to combine.
If you use the method for saving the PDF described in this thread: Found Sets to PDF with unique file names you can use the $path variable to attach the PDF to the email as an attachment automatically. Open the Send Mail scrpt step, click the attach check box and then type in the exact name of your $Path variable (no quotes) and then the PDF generated by your save as PDF is now automatically linked to the email generated by the Send Mail script step.
worked like a charm PhilModJunk, thank you again!!
