Google map in HTML
I am wanting to use a web viewer field with Google maps to go from a fixed address (example below) to the Contact's address. I am wanting to have it always display the map in plain HTML text format, not an actual map, just the directions. How can I do that? Your help is appreciated, I'm definitely a novice, I know just enough FM to get myself in trouble. My current code:
"http://local.google.com/maps?" & "hl=en&f=d&saddr=" & /*Address=*/ "123 Main Street" & "," & /*City=*/ "Anytown" & "," & /*State=*/ "ST" & "," & /*Zip Code=*/ "12345" & "," & /*Country=*/ "" & "&daddr=" & /*Address=*/ Contacts::Address & "," & /*City=*/ Contacts::City & "," & /*State=*/ Contacts::StateOrProvince & "," & /*Zip Code=*/ Contacts::PostalCode & "," & /*Country=*/ ""
I haven't tried that but did something similar to get latitude and longitude values frm a web viewer field. I used a position statement to find the beginning of the text, then middle words from that position for the text I wanted.
Explained a little more in this thread. http://forums.filemaker.com/posts/c0cebb4bc3
