Hand cursor on empty portal rows
If I place a button on a portal and set the cursor to change to a hand, it will do this on all portal rows even if they are empty. Is there any way to stop this from happening?
why should you displaying blank record in portal.
Just show the valid record so that cursor will be there.
I'm not displaying blank records. The portal rows are empty because sometimes there are not enough related records to fill the portal. Yet the hand still displays on these empty protal rows.
Actually i am clarifying it below.
let your portal set up is 10 means it can show 10 rows at a time and there is a button in the portal row in layout mode.
So when you are in browse mode the no of records that exist in the portal that no of button will be against each portal.
if you have 7 record then the button will be against 7 record not more than 7.
you are telling that the blank record have also the button but it is not coming in my demo.
So plz check it properly and put "@@" in the portal row which display the total no of record in the portal.
See attached. I have a portal of 10 rows. There are 5 related records displaying in the portal. There is a button on the right of the portal row. This button only displays on the populated portal rows, but if you put the cursor over an empty portal row, where the button would be, then it changes to a hand.
It is impossible to move the hand cursor.
Bcoz the button is over the portal means it must shown the hand cursor above the potal againt each record.
Oh well, I'll just have to put up with it. Thanks.
If anyone comes up with a solution, please let me know.
