I never had any problems printing a document like an invoice from Filemaker. And I've found that the quality is crystal clear.
Especially if you add 300dpi images.
Have you made a separate layout that you use to print?
Because there should be one layout for data entry and another layout for printing.
Yes I have one layout for data entry and one for printing. The setting during printing is 300dpi. See attached PDF's.
Sorry, I don't see any attached files.
I think you need to upload it somewhere first, like in the public folder of Dropbox. And then give us the public url of the file.
So what you have done is created a layout with a theme and printed that.
What I meant by creating a separate print layout is to create a layout without any themes and with fonts that are better at being printed.
Like an Arial or a Times New Roman.
There are certain fonts that look good on screen but not so good on print. (Like Helvetica)
And I also think those graphics in the theme aren't optimized for printing.
You could go to "Layouts" - "Change Theme" and then choose the top one, I believe it's called "Classic"
And then set all of your text to Times New Roman.
And save that as a Pdf.
Here is an example:
Ok, Sweet. Thank you very much. This will work out much better, especially when printing and not using so much color ink.
