Help Anyone have a script to Start and Stop FileMaker Pro at a certain time of the day?

Post

I have 2 problems:

First, I am trying to terminate a running Filemaker pro 10 database at a specific time of day so that a backup can be run without corrupting the database file.

Second, I want to restart FileMaker Pro 10 and open the database again at a later time (after the backup).  The Database requires a username and password.

Both of these need to run when the user who is running the program is not open at the console

Seems that this should be simple using Applescript but I can't seem to get the opening part to work. How do I launch Filemaker Pro, open a database, and then pass a username and password to the database?

All help welcome...

Thanks
