Help getting started.
Ok, So I have used filemaker pro before and have created several databases. I am trying to create a database and I am not sure where to start. So here is a rundown. This is a class database and I need it to keep track of attendance.
So for my tables, I have Students and Classes, so far. The problem is that the students and classes are in groups. For Example...
Students > Freshman, Jr, Senior
Class list for freshman (Topic 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a)
Class list for jr, sr (Topic 1, Topic 2, Topic 3)
Category 1 and 2 for each Topic
So what I would like it to do is to first allow me to enter the class information. Then ask for student level (freshman, jr, sr). Then select the topic for the class, then select the category for the class.
I know that this may be confusing, I tried to explain it the best I could. Let me know if you need clarification.
