Help to Report Record in 2 Subsummary Categories
Hello. I have an employee database. I am creating a report to total the hours worked by employees for 4 different jobs. I have some employees that work in 2 areas. The record for each employee has job 1 and the hours for job 1, then job 2 and the hours for job 2. I don't know how to report their hours in 2 subsummary areas. My report is only pulling the first area and the corresponding hours. Can anyone help? Thanks so much!
If the data for both categories is stored in the same record, this may not be possible to do. It would be simpler to have two records, one for each category than to try to show data from the same record in two parts of the same report. (But this might be possible on some reports if you use a relationship to link to the same record.)
