I believe that you are storing this information in a second table (It can be in the same file or a different file if you're using a recent release of filemaker):
supplier a price
supplier b price
If so, you have two options:
Option 1: Best for data entry:
Use a portal on a layout that is based on "Database 1" that displays related records in "Database 2". You can look up "portal" in Filemaker Help to learn more.
Option 2: Best for printing/Preview/PDF reports
Create a summary report based on Database 2 and place the fields in Database 1 that you need to see in a Sub-Summary part "sorted by" product.
You may find it best to use both methods on separate layouts.
