      Hi All,

      Im having in trouble with date formatting in my labels. I have two tables (Materials & Labels)

      My Problem is How can I format the My Receiving Date in my Label Using this Custom Format (mm dd/yy)

      I tried Changing the format in my Materials table but the output is not my desired format.

          There seems to be a lot of "extra work" going on here.

          All you really need do is copy an ID from the first table to your materials table if you set up the appropriate relationship between the two tables. That would allow you to replace Labels::Label with a set of merge fields from your materials list and the complex calculation shown would not be needed. You could then select this block of merge text--which would include all of the data currently reference in your calculation, including the text constants, and specify a date format in the inspector.
