Help with Instant Web Publishing

I am attempting to set up Instant Web Publishing so that I can share my Filemaker Pro 11 database with 1-3 other users from remote locations.  I followed the instructions to turn on Instant web Publishing, gave access to all users at this point (it's only me currently), then in my browser I put in the URL # that was in the Instant Web Publishing window, I get the Instant Web Publishing screen and see my database listed, click on it and it comes up just fine.  But then when I click on anything or attempt to make a change (like New Record), I get a message that says the address is not valid.  What am I doing wrong?  I also just noticed that the URL number is different each time (the last number in the series is different).  Does that mean I don't have a static IP address?  I'm at a loss right now as to what to do next to get this going.  I have Windows 7.  Thanks for any input. -Kathy
